STATE CAPITOL, PHOENIX – Today, Rep. Kelli Butler, D-Paradise Valley (District 28), delivered a letter to the Arizona congressional delegation, with bipartisan support, urging it to support the reauthorization of funding for the Children’s Health Insurance Program. Here is an expert from the letter:

“During last year's legislative session, we saw the broad and intense support of Arizonans across the state for KidsCare coverage for children. Arizonans will be paying attention to see if our congressional delegation will stand up for children in our state by renewing federal funding. Without reauthorization prior to September 30, 2017, the healthcare of over 23,000 children in Arizona will at risk. We are counting on you and your colleagues in Congress to reauthorize the Children’s Health Insurance Program and continue to prioritize the health of children over partisan politics.”
