PHOENIX— Representative Richard Andrade, a United States Air Force veteran and the ranking Democratic member on Legislature's Veterans Caucus, released the following statement today to commemorate the 79th anniversary of the December 7, 1941, attack on Pearl Harbor that propelled the United States into World War II.
"Today, in the wake of another attack upon our country by COVID19, let us not forget the sacrifices our service members made during the attack upon Pearl Harbor. We honor them today and I quote President Franklin D. Roosevelt 'A date which will live in infamy.'”
