PHOENIX – Rep. Arlando Teller announced today that he has tested positive for COVID-19. He is isolating and recovering at home in Chinle.
"On Wednesday afternoon I was informed that I had tested positive for COVID-19 after experiencing mild symptoms. I want to thank my family, colleagues and friends for the outpouring of support I have received. I have been taking precautions throughout the pandemic – which has had a devastating impact on the communities I serve -- but this virus is very contagious, very real, and I am unsure where I contracted it. I urge Arizonans to take all precautions -- wear a mask at all times while out, keep physical distance, and stay at home if you can."
